- Wide tooth comb
- Water
- Oil (Shea butter, coconut oil) or your favorite oil
Steps
- What is your next day style
Knowing the style you would like to wear the next day will make it easy for you to decide what style to put your hair in before going to bed. If you want a twist out or Braid out, then you want to put your hair in twists or braids. The choice you yours.
- Moisturize
So depending on what you want to use to moisturize, you can decide to use a moisturizer or a leave-in conditioner. Spray some water in your hair and begin de-tangling by separating your hair with your fingers (finger de-tangling) before using the wide tooth comb to reduce breakage. Apply your moisturizing product and use the wide tooth comb to remove all tangles and also to distribute the product evenly and apply oil to seal in the moisture. Remember to work in sections.
- Style your hair
Now that you have moisturized, it is time to put your hair in the desirable style, being it twist, braids, bantu nuts or a bun.
- Wear your hair bonnet
Another important thing you have to remember is to wear your satin bonnet. Even though you have moisturized your hair, it will be of no help to go sleep on a cotton pillow case, it will dry up your hair and cause breakage or split ends.
Now that you are done with your night time regimen, I hope you have a “Goodnight”!
